Cryosurgery
Cryosurgery is an effective and relatively non-invasive treatment modality for many types of skin tumors and conditions such as sarcoids, aural plaques and squamous cell carcinoma. The tumor site may or may not be debulked (the majority of the tumor removed surgically) and the area is then treated with liquid nitrogen using our cryosurgery gun. It is either sprayed directed to the site or a small frozen probe is applied to the area multiple times for multiple freeze/thaw cycles. The whole process is done with minimal sedation and is generally non-painful.
